Service was awesome she went out of her way to bring bean dip without sauce cause my wife is vegetarian which she loved the potato tacos. My food was very good . I even bought salsa and chips to bring home. New Mecca might have been an old diner back in the day. Very nice place we will be back.

I've been introduced to New Mecca through work catering event. This was my first timing dining in and everything is delicious. The old school diner charm with all the classic Mexican dishes you love. My favorites are the crispy beef tacos, bean dip and enchiladas. I've always said you can tell how good a place is by how cheap there napkins are. This place does not disappoint. They open at 10am and are closed on Wednesdays.

I grew up eating here. The food and vibes are always amazing!!! Best chips and bean dip ever! And don't get me started on the pork burrito dinner with a salad (my dads absolute favorite when he was alive) Absolutely amazing and highly recommended.

Absolutely phenomenal Mexican restaurant. The food was so good and so authentic I couldn't get enough. The ambience is really cool with a newer and older part and beautiful details throughout. This would've been a 5 star review if not for the service. We waited a considerable amount of time before even getting our drink order in and they weren't very busy. Otherwise this place is one of my new favorites!!

I used to come here a lot when I was a kid with the family. My father knew the original owner, and I loved the memories. I've been craving their chilaquiles for a while now. My favorite and nobody does it like them. We had a family day out in Pittsburg, and we had to go here. It's nice to see that it has expanded for more room. We sat at a booth on the original side of the restaurant. Still has that old familiar look and feel to it. They brought out salsa, bean dips, corn, and flour tortilla chips, so good. I ordered the Carne asada fajita chilaquiles (full size). Wife ordered Carnitas super burrito and son ordered hamburger and fries. Ohh man, taste just as I remembered it! By far, my favorite chilaquiles! Can't find any other place that makes it this way. Perfection They haven't changed a thing with the food, and I'm glad they didn't!

I have been eating at this establishment since 1977. The Mexican restaurant litmus test for me is the chili rellenos and literary have ordered the dozens of times. I have not found a spot that makes them better than these. Thiers are hand dipped, lightly battered, and covered in sauted bell peppers and onions . Effing delicious, the Mrs & I believe we have ordered this meal 40 plus time at the Meeca over the years, the best! Pro tip: Ask for the flour corn chips(not on the menu)

Came here with my family for lunch on Sunday. It is a cute place downtown and the outside and interior is just like a retro diner. The place was busy, but there was an open booth we were able to sit at. The seating is separated into two rooms and there are bathrooms on both sides. They give you two different kinds of tortilla chips with Pico de Gallo and gravy with beans as the dip when you are seated. I ordered the beef quesadilla with a side of rice and beans. Of course after eating the chips and salsa and asking for seconds, I was pretty full by the time our food arrived! The quesadilla was stuffed with beef and cheese and the sides were generously portioned. I couldn't finish it so I took it home to eat for dinner! The Super Burrito was huge and definitely enough to share or take home for later. Our waitress was very friendly and accommodating when we had to switch out an order from it being too dry. Tip! If you want chicken as your choice of meat in a burrito or quesadilla, don't get the grilled chicken. If you want something with sauce, get the shredded chicken! Overall a great experience and everyone enjoyed their food! Will definitely be back again!
